93 Honda Accord Flickering Oil light?!
I have a 93 Honda Accord F22A6 manual with 235k miles. I will drive the car to work and back forth to work. Every single time i get off the Freeway, while going down the steep off ramp you may have to brake hard. After that the oil light starts to flash. Before the light would flicker on and then shut right off. Tonight the oil light came on, while at a stop when idling the light would either flicker like it wanted to go out, or it would just stay on. While driving the car after the off ramp the oil light would flash. Could this be the fact the oil pressure sending unit is shorting out? Oil pump? Or just the fact when braking down hill will probably make the oil go towards the front of the pan, causing the oil light to come on... any opinions? advice?
235k and 130mph... bone stock

Have you checked your oil lately, you maybe low, when i had a oil pan gasket leak on my f22a4 mine would come on to let me know i was low on oil, i say check your oil and possibly change it
Ok, well... i drove the car again today for a nice 10 minute drive. While the car is cold, there is no oil light. Once the car is warm and at operating temperature, i will push in the clutch and the oil light will come on, flash, blink and even flicker like it wants to go out. Im going to check the oil filter and pressure sensor unit.. possible drain a 1/4 of a quart of oil.
Ok.. well FML... i was a 1/4 possibly 1/8 overfilled with oil... I forgot that when i adjusted the valves i put lucus all over the valvetrain. No problems now! Of course =/
Dont wanna sound like a smart ***, but i had the same issue with my 92 accord coupe. My engine was abit soak with oil, so I replace all rings, seals and gaskets. I even took out the oil sensor that attatches to the cylinder, pulle it out and clean the connetion that was wet with oil. The was quick fix, but like I said, I replace, rings, seal and gaskets and degreased my engine.
