What type of dash are you talking about. I did a DA dash in my EF years ago, and i must admit, it wasn't too pretty. I used the lower section of the center console for the climate control and head unit and fabricated a Big Monster Tach and boost gauge where DAs usually have the climate control. I also had to trim large end peices off the dash so i could close my doors. I am sure i could have done a much better ob but i was 17 and just wanted to do something different. Make sure you set a whole weekend aside if you want to do this one right.

and yea that doesnt sound like a clean job... did you use the climate control from the ef or da?? cuz it was pretty easy gettin the da climate control to fit.
yea i got all the wiring done and climate control in.. all i need to kno is how to install the da dash the cleanest way possable.
and i didnt want to make another thread about it but i havent found anything on the internet that could help me. and once i found something useful it was from years ago with no pics to help

 

There is no way to avoid trimming off the end pieces. There is only a much better way to do it than with a saws all. I did use the EF climate control. If you look at the [ics of my old car in my sig you will see it was far from a clean swap.

 

^ nice da cosole looks good.. first one i have seen that you have cut the dash instead of the door panels so how did you get it to stay on??

Wow that dash looks good. I just think cutting the dash corners is better than the actual doors when it comes to cosmetics. How did you wire the cluster in there?

 

it came with the car when i got it, so i cant provide you with any details like that...id cut the door pannels instead of the dash...door pannels are a lot cheaper if they get ****ed up then the dash its self
