How check timing belt setup
Is there a way to check the timing belt setup without removing the crankshaft bolt and covers? The car runs ok so checking the ignition rotor is not precise enough. On other cars it could be done through a hole in the cluch cover.
year? engine?
for I4's you can remove the valve cover and upper side cover, then check the alignment of the cam gear with the head and the pulley with lower side cover.
