hey every one i havent researched much but thats why i am asking for help please steer me in the right direction.... i just bought s300 for my em1 and i want to learn how to set up a simple tune so i can eventually get it to the dyno . i am completly new to using it so any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Contact the vendor you bought the unit from for direct assistance & a basemap.
We provide all of our customer's with a basemap pre-installed in the unit for their engine.

 

yea i bought it from you guys lol im just looking for help on what do next. thanks for all the help Phearable / Mr vega are excellent parts distrubuters and have allways gave me help i just feel like a d@ck asking about stuff that most noobs should know.
but like i said need help on where to learn to start.

 

if you have the basemap. it should fire up and atleast run, drive onto trailer and take to tuner. if you have to drive the vehicle. dont out any load on the engine and baby it. if you see/hear any signs of OMG type stuff shut her down and tow it.

My advice to all of our customers is to download the smanager from hondata.com & start reading the help file!

If you still don't feel comfortable messing around with the system, take the car to an experience honda/acura dyno tuner to have the car dialed in perfectly.

 

so i got the ecu installed the latest version of smanager plugged in my lap top and started the car but it smokes emidiately and runs super rich and doesnt idle so i plugged my old p28 running on crome and it runns ok no smoke decent idle . ima try to learn how to use the soft ware first and wait till i can take it to a tuner

 

Email us for technical support. We can probably assist you to try and make sure you have everything setup properly.

Make sure you have the injectors/map sensor installed that you request the basemap for.

 

so i got a b18b1 wit a t3 t4 and a base map im lookin for an ecu maby a p28 on crome or a s300 dont realy no what i should go with any suggestions

thanks phearable.net i will figure it out when i get back deployment shes already sitting on jack stands. would it matter the the injectors for the basemap where low impedence?

by the way thank you for the help and out standing service i dnt think ive ever delt with a parts distrubutor that could get me what i wanted in a matter of 2 days with no problems i just have nothing to say but good things.
