hi everyone my name is chris and im from St. Paul Minnesota. i just picked up a 1990 crx. so my plans are to build it for high compression but from what i have been reading i am confused about what pistons to go with. some people say that if i run p29 pistons that the valves will hit by the way i for got to say its a d16z6. my plans are to run the crower stage 2 cam and the p29 pistons. so if someone could please help me

i did try search but i kept getting throw around on what i actually have to do

i believe that setup is fine, with no clearance issues. or so i have read, clay mold it just to make sure

 

As a newbie, one of the the best ways for you to sort this out is to go through the D series dyno threads and build threads (there are several) and see what has worked for other people. That way, you can get a pretty good idea of what your build should look like, given your budget and power goals.
