Has anyone tracked their Accord?
I am wondering what it would be like to track my '05 V6 auto. I have taken my Type R to VIR and New Jersey MSP, but I know that is a totally different experience. I would likely use Dunlop Direzza Sport tires(or similar) and upgraded brake pads/ fluid.
I would imagine it would be somewhat quicker on the straights than the ITR, pretty smooth through sweeping turns but a bit sloppy through more technical turns.
Anyone have any experience with this?

I haven't yet. I've never run any of my cars, but then again, none of them had *****
The other thing is, if I were to run it, I would have my fiance do it because I would have no idea what I'm doing! But he makes me nervous, because the only thing he has run down the track is mustangs, which are rear wheel. I'm afraid if he launches mine, he's going to snap my axels haha

You sound like you're talking about drag racing. OP is asking about track stuff.
Ed - I think that the 6-speeds have more aggressive suspension tuning than the AT, and perhaps even different ratio for the steering. Also, no LSD is going to suck.
I don't think it'll be faster than the ITR in any part of the track really. You'll lose time while the transmission fumbles for a gear, and hammering the throttle out of corners is going to be difficult unless you are fussing with the gear lever.
It won't brake as well, won't put the power down as well, and might not even gain any ground at all on the straights.
I've thought about tracking mine too

Thanks for the responses. Yes, I was talking about a road course, but the input on how it responds in any demanding performance situation can be useful.
I'm not sure I'd want to upgrade the suspension at this point, all though ground control coilovers are relatively inexpensive. I think as far as the gear shifting, I would think smooth inputs would be rewarded but it could easily become unsettled if asked to do too much on highly technical turns. I think the braking would rely heavily on the type of pad I was able to install.
