alright i got a new ef now and im starting to lose motivation so i feel like if i have a build thread it will give me a reason to move forward. i dont have many pics now but ill do my best to update this thread. im currently unemployed so your not gonna get to look at baller parts just hard work and D.I.Y.. maybe the baller parts will come later when i make some more money. the good news is my brother and I lease a four car garage shop with office and bathroom so we make alot of side money there and I have a nice big place to work on my baby!!!

alright the history of the car is my friend bought it stock a couple of years ago and had a 2.0 L lsv in it until he had to sell the swap.it sat at the shop for a LONG time untoched taking up space. the car eventually went to my other friend who put an ls in it and painted the bay then got bored and sold me the shell. lol.

here it is after my friend did the bay. he didnt prep it very well so i plan to strip it to metal for shave and what not.

thats all i got for right now but there is full shave,crazy color paint in and out, brake line tuck, full restore, wheel refinish, swap, etc. you wont be completely disappointed lol. and it will ALL be done by me and my brother. :corn:

alright finally found time to post these with going to new york and other family visiting when i get back. vacation is tough work. alright the first thing is paint and body so im stripping the car down for that.

ive got a lot of b series parts like mounts, linkage, clutches, trannies, itr IM and header. but im deciding to go a different route for fun. plus while its N/A my bay will be hella bare.


went all out sanding the bay cause i want all the black gone! alot of seam sealer on ef's!

saw the wire tuck was all done so it made me wanna redo the harness lol.

new wheels and all holes grinded to weld, seam sealer gone, anything not used shaved off or drilled out. shock tower shaved.(not done just primered cause we had extra mixed.)


body work. the top of the door and quarter i did some work on making them much straighter. the primer is just on there cause we had extra mixed. just laid on the bottom.

took out the gay *** seat belts and dont plan to reuse them cause i cant stand them on 90-91's



took out the pedals and will be cleaning them up and throw some grip tape on them.


took out the sunroof to prep the roof for paint



got 15 pounds of dry ice and this is all i got done lol. everyone kept stealing it for bombs.


started removing the massive amount of seam sealer from the inside


and for the big updates.........cleaned the windshield lol

got some of these comin to me. i know they arent that baller and i plan to replace them eventually but they will definitely work for now.

alright so i have been doing some thinking about the motor setup and what my plans are for this car. i have came to the conclusion that i dont really need to boost this car since i really just want it to look good, be fun at the track, and weekend warrior it. im most likely getting a dave hickmans racing ported d16a6 head on tuesday so i was basing off of that. so since my main focus is having a rediculously tucked/uncluttered bay here is my plan.

I know for a fact im not finishing it till i have my harness all done crazy tucked. brakelines tucked, and the fuel setup all black an lines and fittings. i would love to have a tucked radiator with all black an fittings and lines, but thats not necessary now. so my plan is to get this and the bay done then focus on the rest. I will be lucky to get 160whp+ with this setup but i think it will be fun as hell still plus a carbed sohc will be rediculous all tucked.

wow. its been a while since i posted on HT. so long story short i lost the car for awhile. im getting it back this week. im getting paid this week too so updates finally. im not doing that gray anymore cause i saw another ef with it but i found a new color. i should be getting my cage done soon. im doing boost again. no more NA plans.
