Hey all i have this thing in my car it was there when i bought it , it looks like a chip or somthing and it inserts into a spot down by drivers legs . If pulled out you cant start the car and a little red light blinks . I have not gone into detail as to were it goes yet, it seems to go into fuse box maybe but i could be wrong . The key thing says magicgate on it . I looked all over google but it just brings up psp or ps2 magicgate memory cards. I know its a immobilizer of some sort but reason for me asking is i thought i saw exact same chip looking thing on this site once and wanted to get another one for my other honda. I know its hard to just give a description of somthing like this lol i will get pics up tommarow but untill than does anyone know ?

it does in theory do the same thing i guess lol . Idk i just thought this one looked cool and cant find it . Maybe it goes under a different name now ?

 

its dealership installed, if you dont make payments they cut you off. theft prevention too.

 

I had one in my 94 4Runner. It is for theft prevention. I bought the 4Runner used and it was in there when I got the truck.
