Hello!!

I need to know if the b16 crank pulley will work on a GSR. I need to know if the belt systems will work for p/s, a/c and the alternator. I had bought a b16 pulley as a replacement because I got a honda discount and I heard that the two pulleys did interchange.

Help! I need to know this asap!!

 

It works but you'll have to find a belt that fits. I tried this before and thought I would have to use the b16 belts such as alternator and power steering belts, but after purchasing and trying them on I still had belt fitment issues "too long" so I decided to purchase a gsr crank pulley

 

hmm. I'm looking into this now. I heard from a member on ej8 squad that he used b16 pulley and belts on his gsr. But I had another guy on the board say it like you did, that it didn't work out for him. hmm.

Maybe the first guy thought he had a b16 pulley but ended up with a gsr pulley? idk.

 

I would just return the b16 pulley if I were you and get a gsr pulley. I have an extra pulley with a little chip where the crank pulley key sits. But im sure it would still work.

The reason I bought a new one was so that it would have good damper rubber and not have any chips in it. I have a spare too, but it also have chip missing from it.
