So I'd like to get a better camera. not the best a taking pictures but I'd like to get better.
I would like the *pro's* input on which camera I should get. Not looking for
some fancy crazy thing. just something that will take nice pics even though i suck.

my price range is from $250 to about $350.
All I've seen in that price range is
-Canon Rebel XT w/ Lense Kit and acces.
-Canon Powershot XS w/ Lenses and acces.

Are these good? Sucky? Different brands like sony good?
Im a super noob at this,. Plz help me.
