Default Just gota 99 civic si and have lots of problems.... please help

1. The heater doesnt work. all my ***** work but the air blows cold at any temp position. i undid the cable in the engine bay and fully closed and fully opened it with the same result... cold air. the car has no a/c lines but all the heater lines are intact. i noticed that the temp gauge in the clust stays a just shy of 1/4 ( judging by the gas gauge). does that seem normal?
2.no e-brake cables, what cables do i need to get?
3. speedo stopped working today. i changed the vss, checked the vss plug, still nothing.
4. gauge cluster lights seem very dim, they are turned all the way up and still are barely visible.( i undid my negative battery cable and the car died, so bad alternator right?) maybe thats why the lights are dim?
5. the lights in the heater control are barely lit up. im guessing some bulbs are burnt out. the fan switch lights are decently bright but the others are barely visible. What size light bulbs do i need?
6. the recircualting and a/c button light bulbs are missing. what size are those?
7. thanks for helping in advance lol

any help will help me out, im new to the 99 si, but not new to hondas, thanks for looking please bump i wanna get this car fixed asap

IMO sounds like you have a possible thermostat problem or a restriction for the heating.

As for ALL of the rest sounds like possible loose ground or maybe the main connector into the cabin is loose or has been efd with.

i just unhooked the heater line that plugs into the head and by the thermostat housing and used my garden hose to push water through it. water flows decent with it on full heat, then nothing when on full cold. i will change my thermostat today. i found out my secondary o2 sensor was rubbing on the bottom of the car(it has a test pipe and the bung isnt pointed in the right direction. so i unplugged it and put a new fuse in number 15 under the dash and my speedo works now. but now i have the o2 code, i think i am just gunna buy a jumper harness and go obd1.

another problem i have is when i slowly accelerate(even when parked) it sputters just before 2k, and it will not go past that point(it sounds and acts like its 2stepping). i changed my plugs and wires already and i set the timing to 16* but the problem still is there, what could be causing this?

It is a safe run mode, runs rich, meant not to damage the engine if something is wrong

I hate people. I dont understand what the fk people do to these cars. Mu buddy just bought a car that has a dam boost gauge and no turbo. I thought he was joking when he told me but the dam gauge is actually hooked up not a dummy. Im used to turbos so to see the gauge in vaccume then just STOP at zero is haaalarious to me

well i swapped my throttle body today because i was told my tps sensor was to blame for the stumbling, and it still does it. so i unplu the tps sensor and it revs up just fine. so i guess there is a short somewhere or something. and i just bought a new thermostat and will be trying that shortly, i noticed when i had the heater on full hot the air was a tiny bit warmer then when on full cold, so im hoping its just the thermostat.

My speedo stopped working sometimes too, solution=i had low trans fluid(make sure its honda mtf or at lea 10w30) Another time it would stop working because one of the small fuses under the dash blew(forgot which one it was but just check em all) replaced it and it was ok...

i installed a new thermostat and still no heat, :/. my speedo quit working because my secondary o2 sensor was rubbing on the undercarriage.

sounds to me like your heater core may be clogged. you said it was blowing a tiny bit warmer now yes? that was after you "flushed" it a bit with the hose to check flow right?

well i didnt try moving the **** to cold because the air was so cold when it was on full heat, but i noticed when i flushed it with it on full heat(the arm closer to the firewall), the water was flowing out but not as much as i was pushing threw. so maybe it is clogged, i wonder if i can back flush it or something. i think im gunna pull out the motor and clean up the engine bay so i might as well try that while the motor is out. and i got my jumper harness today and i put in my chipped gsr ecu and still no vtec. no CEL so i dunno whats up. i need my mad vtec right? or else i wont be able to sleep at night

have you checked where the wires are going from the ECU pins to the sensors. May have a faulty connection in the wiring and that would tell you. Since you are obdII the ecu will go into limp mode more often than it will obd1...so good choice o jumping down there. Might I ask you said no vtec...no CELs...but before you said you were in limp mode and never said how the car stopped being in limp mode besides taking your tps off.
