Default no rev limiter? (head scratcher)

im on crome 1.5.3 tuning with a moates ostrich2 and i have the rev limiter set to 9,000, but its not registering that its on there.

i unplugged the emulator, restarted crome, then hit "read" to see if it saved. it shows the right rev limit, but it has no rev limit still. could this be a bad ribbon cable from the ostrich to the ecu?

The ECU wouldn't run normally if it couldn't read from the Ostrich. It'd be in limp mode. Are you really revving past 9?

try setting it to 7000 see if you hit it, then work your way up.

your tach may be off

ad it at 8500 and it used to hit rev limit .but that was on a burned chip, and I got rid of the chip when i threw the ostrich on. I'm revvin to 9, and it shows 9 on the cluster, but there's no rev limiter.

i did. it shows a value like 9028 for the rev limit. but it still does not work?

maybe its the wiring to the ecu? but which wire could cause this from not having proper connection?

Again try something lower like 8200rpm to actually see if it cuts off. Sometimes your cluster gauge could be off.

did you found the fix for that problem? I also have this bug on crome 1.5.3 also on ostrich.
I also noticed that this happens when i add extra features like Launch an shiftlight.
