A guy i know is selling a what he thinks is a b16 transmission. He just had an itr lsd put in it from a shop, he said he isnt 100 % sure it is a b16 though. I know that if it had an itr lsd put in it which he has recepts for that it can not be a gsr.

So my question is how can i tell if this transmission is really a b16 or an ls transmission?!?

The transmission green tag is off because the kid painted it like a dumb ***..

Is there anyway besides taking it apart or putting it in to test what tranny it really is??

I mean ls is the longest geared trans and b16 is the shortest, so i would think there should be a way to like spin the transmission shaft and watch how many turnes the lsd spins?? idk.
