Clutch Adjusting Question 90 CRX Si
I have two civics. 1 is a 90 CRX Si and the other is a 89 civic hatch with a 90 Si motor and tranny swap. On the CRX the clutch feels good with medium tension, but the hatch is so hard. It is like I have to push 10 times harder than on the CRX. It makes it very tought to drive. I tried adjusting the cable, but all it did, was make the peddle mushy. Is there a place you can adjust the tension by the tranny or someting??? This just makes driving a pain instead of being fun. Please help, I just bought the car like this. Thanks.
Did you adjust the clutch pedal itself??? or the Clutch cable???
My clutch on my crx got really mushy one night to the point where I couldnt even engage my clutch this was after a brand new clutch too.....
So I went to the engine bay and tightened up the clutch cable bracket it has a nut on it you can turn right to tighten or left to loosen it will relieve pressure or increase pressure on the pedal...
How do you adjust the pedal itself cause mine has a ton of play in it before you actually go to engage it..???
