Default Burning Oil Smell coming from Engine Bay...

I have a bone stock B20b motor and I keep getting an oil burning smell from the engine compartment. When I first start the car in the cold there is very light white smoke coming out of the exhaust but once the car is heated up there is no smoke at all from the exhaust. I have no CEL and everything on the car seems to be running perfectly. I replaced the plugs recently and they were a little on the white side (hot).

There is no smell at all from the rear of the car (exhaust). All of the oil burning smell is definitely coming from the engine compartment. If i pull the dipstick right after a long drive there is a little bit of white smoke that comes out of the dip stick hole. Also if I pull the PCV valve from the valve cover a little bit of white smoke will come out of that also. I checked the PCV and it worked fine (blew into it and sucked on it) but replaced it anyways just in case and the smell is still there.

Any idea?

did someone pour oil all over the engine when doing an oil change, that will cause the stink

The oil hasn't been changed for awhile and the smell has been going on for about a good month now so I'm pretty sure if it were an oil spill it would've burned off by now.

I also check where I park the car at light and there are no oil stains so I dont think the engine is physically leaking either.

My motor does not physically leak oil but it does burn a little bit of oil, i do have to top it off every month or so. The motor has around 135k miles on it. How do I test to know that it's the Valve Seals?

Maybe I should slap on a vtec head and call it day then...

yea it sounds like valve seals; typical for hondas lol. yea why not go for it. id replace bearings, rod bolts, rings, water pump, timing belt, and oil pump also while you have it open for reliability

I had an LS which continuously dripped small amounts of oil from the oil pan to the exhaust b-pipe below. You couldn't tell by looking at it, but when I finally changed out the oil pan gasket, I could see the burnt residue of oil on top of the exhaust manifold section directly below.

Look for a small leak that might be getting intercepted by something hot before making it to the ground. Just a thought.
