Default 2 gaskets for quick fix?

so my exhaust gasket leaks a bit (carbon is on the outside of the head) if the turbo manifold is tweaked would running 2 gaskets allow me make up the play?

for some reason i have used a named manifold, i am declining to say the name, and it leaks even with a multi layer exh gasket, but always has been fine with 2.

If you're handy with a belt sander and a straight edge you can do it by hand too, but having it cut on a big sander or mill is better$$
