my ls vtec will i make 200hp?? will i hit 12 sec or low??
sup guys just wondering if my ls vtec will make 200hp or over and hit the time i want. this is a DD car. if anyone has a ls vtec built that is similar to my or just any built i would like to know how much hp and what time you ran. thanks

this motor hasnt been competed yet i'm about 80% done with the built
so guys do you think i will make the power i'm looking for and hit the time i want? (lets just say that i'm not too good or bad of a driver)

You should really match your entire valve train from one manufacture. Get all Supertech.
A Performer X IM will get a bit more power than the Skunk2, maybe even a Victor X IM. Look into this.
The ARC intake may look nice, but I don't think you'll see the peak power if a 3" CAI with a BPI V-stack.
What header are you going to use? Hope something like a Hytech or SMSP, maybe BISI.
Estimated compression ratio? 12:1
2.5" exhaust?
Why don't you just rev until the engine stops making power. There is no need to have a specific number.
Finally, yes, with JUN3 cams you should hit 200whp. A friend of mine with JUN3's was at 220whp with a GSR crank way back in the late 90's. You will also find builds on here with BLOX C cams that made over 200whp. BLOX C=JUN3's

alot of people are doing 12s as long as you can drive decently and dont have no trashy tranny. some have reached 11s with gutted bubbles
I've seen a stock gsr with bolt ons and type r cams run 12.4. Weight is key if ur not making power. The car weighed 1850
we have no way of knowing.
