Well HT, I recently purchased a 96 DC4 and after doing a couple things (spark plugs,wires,oil) i noticed the radiator cap was broken the spring from the cap floating in the water. i changed the cap and ran the car and now i got a water leak and its coming from the area of the water pump. Now the reason for the topic is i have a buddy who works at honda who can get a discount on honda/acura parts. BUT his discount is better for honda so what i was curious about is if i get the water pump, timing belt ,tensioner,crank seal, and cam seals from a b20 would it work on my LS???

 

I think so, but not 100% sure.....

 

Same water pump, tensioner and timing belt for sure.
Just put this kit on b20b.

gates tckwp184 - comes with timing belt, water pump and tensioner.
same part number for b18b and b20b.

 

your friend works at honda and cant answer this

 

Everything that you mention will switch over just fine. I used all those parts from my old LS when I made my B20.

and im guessing the valve cover gasket for the b20 would work too?

 

front main seal and cam seals could also be changed at the same time. you could also do a valve adjustment while you have the valve cover off

 

Im already planning to do the cam seals and isnt the crank seal considered the front main seal?
