Ok went to the yard this morning to pull a dash for my 1990 hatch. The 90 dash I was going to get turned out to be all FUBAR. So I went looking around and found a mint 88-89hatch dash. My question is it possible to put the 88-89 dash in my 1990 hatch and use the 90 gauge cluster cover? What all will I need from the 88-89 civic to make this work? Any help would be awesome guys.

Also any difference between 88-89 hatch and 90-91 hatch fenders?

 

do some searches on the dash. you could be out of luck. 88-89 is different than 90-91. notice where the hazard switch is? stuff like that..

also, for the fenders, the blink lights next to the headlights mount totally different on the 90-91 vs. 88-89. so I don't think the fenders are 100% interchangable. perhaps aftermarket parts have accomadating holes but I'm not sure.

I had to replace a blinker light and found out the hard way they are not the same.
