Default over heating issue

Ok so my car started over heating on Saturday. I drove to a restaurant about 20 mins away and on the way back is when my car was over heating.

I pulled into my garage and the hose on the bottom of the radiator was cold as if I never started the engine and the hose on top was hot. So I thought it was the thermostat so I replaced that already.

Now the car is still overheating and the two hose is still the same. I hate to say it but could it be my water pump going out?

Oh I forgot the car is a 97 LS swap into a EH body.

Should of mention that I already pulled the radiator to check it and checked the hoses too, when I replaced the thermostat.

I need an opinion, 180,000 miles on original water pump.....I think it is time for the water pump to go. This is what I believe is the problem.

oh I should also mention I do have enough antifreeze in the car and the fan does work.

I should still test them temp gauge...
