Hey there, my gf has '99 civic hatch, we got her the car 1yr ago, and i finally got off my behind to fix her audio. Headunit did not have any fm reception and did not play any cd's and the speakers sound just horrible.

I got her Pioneer DEH-2200UB headunit yesterday, it was cheap, has usb interface and she doesn't need more, very happy from it as it's simple and does the job right.

Now I need to replace stock speakers front and back, they will only play off the headunit, don't want/need to get an amp, she's not that picky with sound. I need some cheap replacements that will sound good, have some bass if it's possible, maybe $100-$150 for both pairs (we'r on buget, saving for a home).

Also I just found out that rear 6x9 have 1.8'' mount depth which will be a pain to find something in this size, so could I slap a 6.5 there instead ?
