need help with hatch it wont open

i got a 2000 integra the rear hatch wont open it used to open but only sometimes now it doesnt open at all any help would be apreciated

Maybe you snapped the cable?

Try opening it from the back with a key. If it opens up from there, then the cable is snapped.

yea i would but i dont have a key for the hatch its diferent than the ignition key.i guess im just gonna have to get a key made
