Default dsm 450cc injectors bogggg???

just wondering if this is normal for my boosted motor. i have a sohc zc in and obd0(pm6) ee unchipped/tuned, last week i put in some 440cc injectors i got from a past random turbo kit (kept the injectors, dont know the brand). starting off from first it bogs and rpm doesnt climb. also in gears it jumps and doesn't want to go. it was annoying driving cause i almost got hit from behind a few times and also in intersections. put back the stock injectors the next day and it runs perfectly fine.

so, recently just got some 450 dsm injectors, put them in and it didn't feel as bad as the first set but still pretty bad. at times it bogs starting off, so i have to rev the car up before starting (idling is rough too). so once again, drove back home and put in the stock and runs normal again.

my question is, is this a normal thing for an untuned obd0? do i need to add/do something or did i do something wrong?

because 440cc injectors flow considerably more than the 240cc(stock) injectors, without the ecu compensating for the increase, i'd say you might be running kind of rich.

Hell yes, it's normal for an untuned car to run rich as hell when you randomly put in injectors that flow twice as much. :D

you're dumping way to much fuel with those injectors. you need to get it tune if you're gonna used them. plus you need a resistor box for the DSM 450cc.

Stock resistor box is fine with the DSM injectors. You just need to tune it.

Do it soon, or you'll wash out the piston rings.

Just leave the injectors out until you can tune.

the vafc is a hack, plenty of cheap street tuners that know enough to keep it reliable and be much better than a hack vafc

it will work but it will also raise your timing. but it will work fine if you have a wideband

AKA its a garbage hack dont do it. have a better fighting chance getting an ostrich and tuning your self not knowing more than 1.5 degrees per psi of boost of retard for a really safe tune that you dont have to worry about detonation
