help w/ check engine light
okay i'm stumped, check engine light came on couple days ago and i read the code said some **** about o2 sensor.. so i went out and replaced both o2 sensors, cleared the code w/ the codereader, unplugged my ecu, unplugged my battery.. it was good for maybe 5 minutes then cel came back on with same code it said something like
O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage 1
any ideas?
O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage 1
any ideas?
circuit low voltage means the O2 oxygen sensor's voltage remained low for longer than 2-3 minutes. check for plugged catalyst, short to voltage on O2 signal circuit and high resistance or open on O2 signal circuit. possible kinked wire.
start by checking if your catalyst converter is plugged/restricted. an exhaust leak could also play a roll in this situation. What bank is the fault showing? If you have a volt meter and a helm manual, follow the flow chart. I do not have it on the top of my head right now but check for the proper ohms and voltage you should have at the plugs, ecu and circuit.
