Sun Roof Question
No.
They're divided by generation and body style. Even 6G coupes and hatches and sedans have different sized roofs and the sunroofpans are different for hatches.
I noticed you didn't say if the 5G even has a moonroof to begin with. So I'm not sure if you're talking about a full roof swap or just parts swap. The roofs are all different sizes though.
Glass should be different sizes I think. The mechanisms are totally different also (which might affect the mounts on the bottom of the glass). 5Gs have a spoiler type moonroof that slides up and back. 6Gs have the type that slides into the roof or pops up.

thanks for the reply. The 93civic hatch i am going to get does not come with sunroof. I was gonna try to cut the hole and go from there.

You're going to have to do more research if you want to install an OEM sunroof into your 5G hatch. The sheet metal for the roof is totally different - it will involve drilling out the spot welds and reattaching one removed from an Si hatch. Google is your friend here ... would be nice if you could post back with links, though! This idea has always been in the back of my mind ... for later, much later.
