Default wanna build my d15b

wats up guys...well i used to have a 97 accord and sold it and jumped on a 95 honda civic ex (ej1).....well i thought it came with a d16z6, and when i started messing around i saw that it was a jdm d15b....

been driving the car around for a bit and even though its a single cam, this motor got potential, so i decided to build it since not too many people in the area have one of these so this is where your suggestions come in...

right now the car has a i/h/e and a p28 chipped and tuned....

now idk what to go with next...i got other friends that are into hondas and one said to start off with a b20 cam?!?! i would think that a b series cam would not fit on a d series but you guys know more than me so let me know....

my other friend suggested i get a skunk2 intake mani and tb....i started researching and i read that this mod is good at mid range but kinda lack in top end power...is this true??

what do you guys suggest i go with first?? and any more info you guys have will help...

p.s. im kinda on a budget but if its worth saving money i got time to save for it....

Next step should probably be valve springs and a cam. And, no, you can not use a B series cam. Check out the cams from Bisimoto; he gets as much power out of SOHC motors as anyone does.

Best of luck with your project.

i like the skunk2 cam in that engine, but i would recommend removing the head to put the cam in. the head needs notching to fit the cam
