Default Head Gasket question

I have a 95 GSR...and im thinking the head gasket is leaking...im not quite sure...im in college so i dont have access to a bunch of tools at the moment. But here's whats up...its burning oil...or losing it...i dont see any signs really of it leaking to badly...i have coolent in the oil cap...and every now and again the temp gauge goes a little high. It has NOT overheated...im just getting kind of sick of topping off the oil. I know when i go home i can do a head gasket if i need to...just wondered if this sounded like a bad gasket to anyone else...any help is very very much appreciated.

If you have coolant in the oil cap, then yes, its a bad head gasket. You wont see it leak on the out side, but internally, it is worn. Get her done soon, or else be left with a real big problem. I would get the head gasket done. it isn't simple to do, but it san be a pain in the ***. Takes me about 5 hrs to do it by me self.

agree with the previous post, but burnong oil is normal in VTEC cars. If u change your oil every 3k miles and u get on it time to time, vtec cars will usually burn around 1/2 a quart of oil. Hence the big black cloud when u punch it, also runs rich
