Anyone know of a good shop or person that can replace my motor mounts for me. I recently swapped a JDM H22 in my EG. I went with cheap motor mounts which do not line up in the rear mount, so now my engine is being held up by 2 mounts only, passenger transmission side and engine driver side. The rear mount is on the engine bracket, but not on the vehicle chassis. I just purchased a new mount kit (innovative mounts) which requires to cut off the whole transmission side ear mount part and needs to be replaced with the one provided. And I will also need the driver side and rear mount put in. Please let me know if anyone can help me find a shop or a person in SAN DIEGO, CA area that can do it for cheap for me. THANK YOU!!!

 

I live in San Diego area. I would just weld the new ones onto your old ones and then loc-tite the bolts in.

The new mount that you are talking about you have to weld a new ear on? I know with Hasport mounts you have to cut the ear off then there are 2 really small holes we drilled those out and put a bolt through it and put a nut on the other end. Worked perfectly.
