So I have a code 4. Crank position sensor but not sure eat to replace. The cel comes on after the car is driven foR more than an hour. When the light is on I can't rev passed 3k rpm. The car also backfires a little. The motor is a completely stock d16a6. Anyone help please. I use my car for work driving 100 miles a day. Please help

 

your distributor is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced or change out the ignitor...!!!

 

So it is a code 4 right? I looked at my ecu and it blinks 4 times, pauses n blinks 4 times. Back n forth. So is that a code 4 or 44? Lol and if it is a 4, does this mean my dizzy is going bad? Because it's been acting up like this for about 2 years now. Cel only comes on when I drive long distance and stuck in traffic. Then I let it cool down for a couple hours, start it up and drive n it's fine again. Thanks for ur help

 

four blinks is a code 4...borrow a si dizzy from a friend to make sure that it is indeed the dizzy that is making you throw a ecu code before buying another one...!!!
