rhd worth it
i found a rhd clip for the itr im tempted to do the conversion but i dont want to take away the value of the car.being an original usdm spec does the rhd and jdm front take the value away from it?
And why in the world would you want RHD in a LHD country?

It would dramatically reduce the value, and the safety, of the vehicle. RHD is only cool if you get an ITR from Japan or the UK that came from the factory RHD.
RHD conversions, in my most humble opinion, are so f**king played out. They were cool back in 2004.

In all honesty, there are alway a couple REAL JDM ITRs for sale that are already in this country and most are registered. I've seen a few in the $10-14k range in the past year.
Just get the real damn thing..

please dont do it! a jdm front conversion already takes away from the usdm spec R value! (i bought one jdm front converted and it is unfortunately a 97!) seriously do not convert it to RHD. you can buy a REAL Honda ITR in the states (there legality is sketchy but if you dont live in CALI or New York, go for it)
I bought an R that someone F'd up completely. To make a long story short the only way to fix it was to complete the rhd the right way. When it was done it was fun to drive for like a week. Then it got annoying and I felt like I was driving a circus car. It drove and handled like stock, but it felt weird to be the only one in traffic sitting on the wrong side.
it was bought as a theft recovery by a friend and he put the jdm recaros and front end on it allready so i know the value of the car went way down.a friend of mine was telling me to make it rhd but i had a feeling that it would take away from the value.i dont plan on selling the car anytime soon maybe pass it down to my kid one day since it already has a salvage/rebuilt title and jdm i know its better for me to keep it forever
Find a integra with a smashed front end, so instead of it going to die in a scrap yard, give it a second chance with your JDM front end.
Making an original Acura ITR to RHD is like poppin a girls cherry by fingerbanging. You can tell your friends you took virginity it from her, but when they know how you did it, they wont be nearly as impressed with it.

Well if it has a salvage title then do whatever you want to it. It will never be worth anything on paper, but it can still be worth something to you. Have fun, do what you want, that's the whole point of building cars. Good Luck!
if you want something RHD go here: http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=2397880
There are plenty for sale.

If you know what you're doing then you shouldn't have to worry about it being a hack job. If you've ever taken a car apart at the frame rails then you would know they are pretty much put together like Legos. Have you ever played with Legos? It doesn't matter if you have an ITR or a Cutlass, you're only on this planet for a short time, so cut them in half, smash them into walls, track them, hard park them, stick them in a Michael Jackson chamber...it's a material possesion, it doesn't matter what you do.
