Hi,

1993 Accord EX-R (Canada) F22A6 engine has been swapped (by me) for same from recycler. Clutch master/slave bad, so no clutch right now. Started car, and pretty much right away. Car ran about 15 seconds, then very slight shudder and the CEL comes on steady. Disconnected battery to clear CEL and re-started car. CEL on again after about 5 seconds.

Question - Would clutch make CEL come on?

Is it now time to jump the diagnostic connector and pull codes?

You have to pull codes... how else are you supposed to tell?
