2008 Accord Coupe EX-L any warnings?
Hello All,
I'm new to the 2003 and newer Accord section. I was a older Accord owner. I'm looking to purchase a 2008 Accord Coupe EX-L, approx. 20k mi, actually going to look at one tomorrow. Is there anything I should be aware of? Is there anyone who can offer their opinion on this vehicle. I have read all the 'professional' reviews, was wondering what the average man/women had to say.
Thank you,

Thanks guys, I had a chance to view the car and drive it. It was hard to give a non-bias opinion myself because any car would ride, look, sound, heck even smell better then the current car that I call my daily driver. By the way is a 91 Accord. The 08 in question was damn near brand new. It barely had 18k mi on the odo. Everything inside and out was mint.
Maybe the car is too new to really comment on the positive and negatives. It hasn't had a chance to perform in real world situations. I did take aim at the brake issues and had a mechanic mic them, and he says they are just under half and that was the back pad.
All-in-all any car out there can be a 'cream puff ' or a 'lemon' just wanted to tap into other peoples experiences, good or bad.
Thank you

Gen8 been out long enough to get good idea in many area's of it, almost 3 yrs out .
Like any car there are TSB out for various things, not that all pertain to your vehicle, you may not have any of issues listed .
I have a 08 LX with no real complaints about the car , didn't need to bring it in for anything so far .

Some have gotten there replaced for free , others 1/2 price , wouldn't hurt to ask before mileage and time adds up .
You did not specify I4 or V6, but at this point I can highly recommend not getting the V6, see my post about oil on the spark-plug. Other than a worrisome engine, the car is a great daily commuter car.
