does any one know where i can find a orginal factory ef crx car cover. this cover was made by honda

 

have you tried Honda dealer? - part number for cover is 08708-SH2A0AH

 

I bought mine brand new from a dealer about 6 years ago and was told it was the very last one listed in the Honda warehouse.

So with that, my guess would be that unless Honda decided to make some more (doubtful) or some old-school dealer has one from the early 90's that has been laying the back room, they are long since gone.

Edit: Mine was for a 88-91 hatchback and not a CRX. I don't know if any still exist in the warehouse for the CRX's. Highly doubtful, but you never know.

The ones the US got were a much thicker type of cottonish material. They were also blue (like the one in the auction), as well.

Now that I think about it, when I had a CRX--I remember looking for a car cover for it and I couldn't find any in the dealership database. This was around 2003ish.

 

Good luck getting one from the dealership. The item has bee discontinued for a while. Your best bet is the classifieds, craigslist, or ebay. But be prepared to pay top dollar for a decent one.

 

If you can do without an OEM one, there are aftermarket companies that make custom-fit covers for the crx's.
