Default can someone send me a picture of the timing jumper

can someone send me a picture of the jumper i have to jump to set timing . i thought i got the rite jumper before but now im second guessing
also the wire colors would help to

ive never jumped anything while setting ignition timing.

ya you have to . it puts your car into base timing . it keeps the ecu from advancing or retarding the timing to counter act your timing adjustment while ur doing it

Just use a small piece of wire or a small paper clip. All your doing is jumping the 2 wires.

its the same plug you use to check for check engine lights. on 90-91 civic/crx's it will be a blue 2 wire plug and 88-89 will have a yellow cap.
on 90-91 the plug should be on the passenger side kick panel above/next to you barometric pressure sensor, and on 88-89 the plug will be on the driver side shock tower.

i never jump anything either and it works fine even passes smog so you know its good. ive never had to jump anthing on a 88-91 for a cel either theres a little blinking light.

hmm i pulled my map sensor got a check engine light. and i jumper-ed the 2 wires and it didn't flash to show me the code so i still think i have the wrong jumper its from the passenger side kick panel please someone i need a pic

early models:

That is the jumper for setting the base ignition timing OBDO

If you are trying to read the codes,That is done by turning on the key and watching the flashing light on the ecu unless it is OBDI or II..

that kind of helps except i have a swap with a b18c1....... and i thought the jumper was under the dash not in the engine compartment?

like they said above, if your car is an 88-89, it will be on the ds shock tower (as pictured). if its a 90-91 then it will be near the top of the passenger side kick panel
