Default Predicted HP Numbers?

We're in the middle of building this LSVtec motor, and were kicking opinions and predictions around on how much power it will put down... Figured I would post it here to get more insight on the situation. Yes yes, I know.. 'Bench Racing' sucks.. but just give your honest opinion and let it rest at that.

Motor list is as follows:

B18b block
81.5MM bore (.25mm overbore)
JE pistons, 4.1cc dome (Zeal Autowerks calculator estimates 11.6:1 compression)
BC rods, stock ls rod length
Stock crank
ARP main bolts
ARP head bolts

B16 head
Type-R dual valve springs
Type-R LMAs
'00 "jdm" ITR/CTR Cams
'96 ITR/CTR header (4-2-1 cast style with 2.5" collector, not the 4-1 with 2.5" collector)
Type-R intake manifold
2.5" spun-cell catalytic converter
2.5" RS*R exhaust system

Stock cable J1/b16 trans.
Tuned on Neptune.

Opinions, input? Post it up!

Look into b20 build thread otherwise its no way to tell i mean i can shout numbers but it wont mean nothing till u get it on dyno..

there are similar builds that might give you an idea

you basically have a jdm type r motor with %3 more displacement at 1856cc's and 0.5 more compression which together should bump the stock 200hp motor to around 210hp and only a cat, catback, tune and probably an intake, its not too far away from stock IMO and easy to make an estimate.

all in all I figure you would have something in the 225 hp at the crank range and around 195whp on a dynojet ,should everything be put together properly and well tuned.

i never understood why people get mad at others who ask what kind of hp they might have maybe if the numbers they hear arent what they want and possibly wanna change something in there build to get the numbers they want why put it together and then dyno it and not get the hp you wanted then you have to build it twice

Because being asked to spoon-feed someone is annoying. There are a LOT of dyno threads on here, so unless a build is REALLY exotic they can find actual numbers for a similar motor if they put any effort at all into it.

Wow... take a pill and calm down a little bit? I said I'm 'in the middle of building' a motor... not that I have the swap done already.. if I could take it to the dyno right now, I would. But since its just barely being assembled, I figured I would get.a general concensus as to what the knowlegeable people here on HT thought the motor would perform at. Yes, I've searched for dyno graphs and have found that similar builds are anywwhere from 170-190whp... but does it really hurt to ask? If it bothers you that much, I think you have bigger problems than an out-of-place topic posted on Honda-Tech bro.

As far as bench racing... am I saying "my motor will smash on yours.. once its swapped"? No, I'm not confronting anyone nor am I saying what I should be able to beat.. I am simply asking for people with the knowlege to chime in and give an opinion on what their thoughts are regarding this build. But, keep being a dick as you seem to be good at it.
