I have some 13x8 inch rims and i wanted to know if i should get 24.5x8 or 24.5x9 inch tires, car will be pushing out some where around 600 hp and i do not want the tires to stick to far out from the fender

 

whats going to make them stick out is going to the rim offset/backspacing

 

they're gonna stick out no matter what, unless you want the tire to rub the knuckle.

 

I had some 24.5x8's and they stuck out quite a bit.. I was running them on the bogarts. I'm making about 600whp and they would spin quite a bit..I would suggest going wider. In my case I just went ahead with the M&H 25x8.7-13 and they hook all the way down the track.

 

not to thread jack but what size slicks would be good for a stock gsr or would slicks be over kill?

 

Most Hondas are happy with MTT 24.5x8x13
