cable to hydro tranny conversion help???
Hows it going HT! I have a 88 civic 4 door which i am going to be swaping in a Lsvtec with a hydro transmisson. My question is and cant seem to find anything on it.... is it possible to go a cable to hydro tranny with out the hassort or innovative conversion bracket... just like using some stock parts that i have around like the pedal or the clutch master cylinder... i just want to know if i have to cut in firewall or what? So i wanna know if there is a link for a DIY or any one that has pictures of this done to help me out that would be great..THANKS
the kits going to be the best way to go. but you can swap out your pedal bracket with a little bit of modification. i saw a write up about it a few years back.
try searching for the SONEM KIT. thats probably something you'll be interested in

Wrong. What's the point? The whole idea of a hydraulic clutch is to replace the old cable style with something that works better. How is the system going to work any better with a cable still in the equation?
Check out my build thread, did a complete hydro conversion with something similar to the SONEM kit when I dropped a GSR in my 90 Sedan. Pics included and I love it
