Default 98 Accord keeps dying....

1998 Accord LX
Completely Stock
~140k, automatic transmission

Onto the issue... Sometimes when started, wont stay on. Have to keep re-starting. Sometimes when driving will shut off, pop into neutral and re-starts every time. Hasn't posed much of an issue so far but today it wont stay on for more than like 10mins.

Q: Is this a known problem? If so, what's the known solution? If not, what are the possible issues?

HELP!!!!

Possible ignition switch problem. See TSB:

Awesome! Does this mean (since it's a recall), that they'll replace it for me?

Yes. My ignition went out while I was driving down the road. Freaked out for a few and it started up finally. Went to Honda the next day and had it replaced for free.

i had the same problem with my 99 accord but it wasnt as bad. It turned out to be the main fuel relay in the car that was causing all the problems. I had the ingiton switch replaced when i went to honda and it did nothing. Dont take the car to honda they dont really help take it somewhere else.

Yeah i got it done. Had to pay and do it myself since the recall was already done on it but nonetheless, it's done. Thanks HT world.
