wasnt exactly sure where to post this.

my friends water pump is leaking on his B16A and i had a spare good/newer water pump just sittin in a box. the one one his motor is a 22 tooth pump and the spare one i have is a 19 tooth.

is there an issue with swappin these two pumps or should i not?

 

No I wouldnt do it. You need a water pump with the same amount of teeth. I dont even think your water pump with 19 teeth's is meant for a vtec motor.
