Default 98 hatch "3 wheels" when on jack stands.

I picked up a 98 hatch in pretty good condition, When I put it up on jack stands the rear drivers side did not sit on the jack stand, it sat about 1/4 inch off the jack stand. All the othe 3 held up the car properly. There was no creaking or flexing of any kind.

Should I be worried about somthing not being straight on the car? It looks fine underneath .

Thanks

Does it have stiff coils? If so they might not be releasing and touching the jackstand. Or like said above the floor is uneven. As long as the car doesnt move on the stands i wouldnt worry about it.

my car did the same thing. ended up figuring out something that gave me peace of mind though its kind of hard to explain without pictures. anyhow i used 3 the way they were supposed to be used (with the jack stands cradling the lift points/pinch welds) and i turned the last one 90* so that the raised edges were now touching and supporting that corner of the car. i did have to raise that side up a tad more, but it made me more comfortable seeing how my entire body was underneath the car.

hope that made sense.

i was more concerned about it being in a collision. could be floor. last car i had in there was a 90 hatch and it was facining the oppisite directionMeaning if the floor was uneven then the front end would have been on the uneven part not the rear as was the case for the 98). car seems to drive fine
