Anyone burn a little carbon after winter?
During winter, I had quite a few cold starts and drives, actually it was freezing. I warmed my car up when I could but sometimes it wasn't worth being late to class.
So now that it's warmer I'm starting to drive my car a little harder because it warms up faster. I smell things when I hit vtec, sometimes like carbon, sometimes like oil. I'm thinking that since I commute only a mile at a time in this college town, that carbon is building up on my pistons quicker than normal, and maybe it's being burnt when I drive it hard.
Does anyone else experience this?

if your just short trippin it all the time you'll wear your plugs out and create a not as well burned combustion and eventually misfires. so its probably possible but not cuz of winter.
