Default Rice Question: 94 Accord LX - Any clue as to where I could "possibly" hook up a BOV?

Yes, that's right! I said it! I do not have the funds or time for a real turbo for my car, so I'd like to try and hook up a BOV somehow (yes, for the sound), but I have no idea where (if any) pressure would be released in/outside the engine to operate a bov.

Can anyone brainstorm some ideas? Maybe off the intake, brake booster, or plenum somewhere?

I would look for inspiration on a very tall bridge.

jumping sometimes gets the brain working on ideas.

start there.

but in all seriousness, there is no positive pressure in your intake pipes so there will never be any zW33t JDM b0V sounds.

If you just want attention and still be slow try underbody glow and some type-r stickers... on your hood...

fail

You see that little pipe coming out the top of the engine? Dat is like a baby BOV right there man, just pull it out and put your BOV instead and it will sound maddddddddddddddd... Your VTAKKKKKKKKKK would kick in at like 200RPM mannnn

This is why I feel ashamed to have a Honda oftentimes......

BOV=release for positive air pressure. Standard intakes have vacuum pressure (negative air pressure).

I said it once.... I shall say it again..... turn up the boost on your Vtax Solenoid..... then when you lets off the throttle the BOV will go bo0sh-it!

This thread makes me think we should keep track of the biggest fails of the year... LOL!!! WTF is the point of drawing more attention to your car without actually making it faster?!?!?!

If you really want to do it don't give your money to those companies on Ebay, just get a nice system, burn a cd of a BOV and put it on repeat. That or sell your accord, buy a craptastic civic and use the money left over to get a ghetto ebay turbo kit.... at least then you have a real turbo (and we don't have another "JayDeMM AZzz *****" ricer driving an accord)

You can only hook it up to the spark plugs on diesel engines, all 1983 Corvettes, or off of the radiator and waterpump on the original VW bugs.
