speedometer problem!!!

Default speedometer problem!!!

well i notice it didn't work so i uncover this when i looked at the cluster



can anybody if that's the problem if so how can i fix it??
so what else should check

make sure the speedometer is connected properly on the tranny, put the car in jacks and with the cluster side end of the cable look to see if it spins when you engage the car in gear and let it spin at atleast 2,000 rpms. if it does, then plug it in to your cluster and see if it catches the cable spinning.

cant really tell from the pic but it does look a lil shorter than normal. try the steps that i wrote first. it might be the cable itself is bad.

on the top backside of the tranny your going to see it your going to see the cluster cable running into it

well first of all the cable wasnt connected so i mess with the cable first.

plug cable into speed sensor on trans, and cable into cluster. go for drive. if it doesnt work remove the speed sensor to make sure the gear and everything is spinning then replace the speedo cable (i replaced mine when i did my swap with a used one cause it came apart). worse case its your speedometer gauge.
