Can soemone please tell me that somebody other than Weapon-R makes an intake system for this J35 beauty? ...and without lying about it. ;-)

It's the family ride, just wanting to add a few nicer things since I'm not building my Civic any more. Currently sports some Mugen (reservoir covers, oil cap, radiator cap), woo hoo!

The Mugen 5spd shift **** should work right? From what I can tell it's just like my Civic ****, screw on/off.

Getting the Piaa H4 bulbs, Mugen AT pedals, and a few WeatherTech items any day now.

I've looked with AEM, Injen, Fujita, Misimoto, K&N, ARC, ...nothing for intake but Weapon-R.

So, Weapon-R it is.

Has anyone ran Weapon-R before? There's an $80 difference between the Dragon and Secret Weapon systems they offer. I fully understand the difference from the two, but I don't consider Weapon-R a high end company compared to what's really out there. Are they worth a near $200 intake, or should the regular $120 do just fine?

I'm only looking for improved gas mileage, not horsepower (the 240hp is just fine, if this kicks in 4-6 more, no biggie to me).

i just installed a weapon r dragon intake in my dads 98 cr-v ex 5 speed and it def improved gas mileage and gives a nice roar and also a nice little kick compared to stock. i dont know about now but back in 99-00 when i first got into hondas weapon r was a pretty pricey and well known company. def worth the 105 we paid for the intake.

thanks for the review. helps ease the mind a bit to weapon-r.

i'm still gonna measure the factory tube at the connecting point to the air box. password jdm makes a universal carbon fiber kit that might fit to the factory tube.

after that, i'll be buying one or the other.

can anyone save me some time and tell me the size of the factory tube? that way i could order today instead of mid week (it'll take a few days for me to get time at home to look at it). tia if you can.
