ok, i got a 94 hatch si...with a d16z6....when i first got it i was leaking a bit of oil...so i changed the oil pan gasket and still leaked...changed out the dizzy seal...still leaked...dropped the tranny and changed out the real main seal (cleaned off tranny in hopes it wouldnt leak again)...now after all this she still leaks...leaks even more than before...any help on what it might be?-thanx

 

VTEC solenoid? Valve cover gasket?

 

sorry forgot to mention that...i also did change out the valve cover gasket....and thanks...ima have to check out the solenoid...

 

Where is the leak coming from? Like what area of the engine is wet with oil? Cause it sounds like you started just changing random things in hope of it going away. You need to figure out where the source is, then replace needed seals, or gaskets.

 

Give it a good cleaning then watch close to locate the source.

 

so yea cleaned up all the oil....and finally figured it out...the damn VTEC solenoid...appreciate the help
