Default Regarding PIAA H4 bulb replacements (only bulbs)...

I drive a 2006 4-door EX Accord I was looking to buy/install these because I prefer the clear/blue light much more than the OEM yellowish tint. This is strictly a style preference. Should I be concerned about anything prior to making the switch?

Thank you in advance.

I had H4 Superwhites in my Civic back in the days. Yes, they look supercool. But they did not last as long as I expected. PIAA was suppose to be a good brand. Summary, I didn't feel I got my money's worth. When one goes out, you almost have to spend more to replace it. Plan on spending more because the other one will go out soon. How long do you want to do this?

I put my OEM back and never need to buy lights again. It lasted till I sold my Civic.

Think about HIDs. Cost more, but it's really what you want, right? I read that they are all plug and play now so it's should be easy.

Consider there were many garbage bulbs made during the late 90s, PIAA was the only brand to trust. I want to say one lasted 1.5 years. The other one could have gone longer, but I took it out, and went all OEM.

I think I paid $90 for the pair.

Had the Civic for little over 8 years.

I don't know about quality now.

So just to confirm, if I were to buy PIAA H4 Xtreme White Plus replacement bulbs, I could install them into my 2006 Accord EX 4-door without any problems, correct?

Just wanted to confirm size/fit before purchasing.

Thank you.

Also, do I have to replace both the H3 and H4 (high/low beams - 60W/51W - 4 total bulbs) as well or can I get away with replacing just the two H4's.

Appreciate eveyone's help.

I would do only the low beam because the hi also run as the DRL. You'll burn them up real quick. I have never (had to) changed the light bulb on my 2006 back then. I would expect it to be a direct fit.

Thinking about it (maybe I'm wrong), you need to double check. I recall H4 being both hi-low. And not sure if the G7 (06) Accord uses H4 - I don't think so.

go with sylvania silverstars. i've had a set in my civic for nearly 5 years. they project the nice white glow and last as long as OEM, if not longer.

Good luck with that H4 since you use separate 9006 and 9005 bulbs.
