Hi guys,
I am looking to start a project of some sort and want to buy a car off iaai.com
Anyone here with experience doing so? It seems like most of the auctions you have to be a dealer, scrapper, etc

Hi Dan, Most of the auctions require some sort of credentials, but I do believe there are some that just anyone can walk into and bid, best bet is to call each one and see what they require. There are also some much closer auction sites. Down in Quincy right up by the Quarry before the golf club there is an auto auction house, copart has one in concord ma, in fact they have an auction this Friday at their "north of Boston" location which I believe is the concord location.
Worst case you get someone who has a license to go with you and pay them some cash for their time.

Iaa you have to be a dealer. They have days open to public but you have to live out of the state your buying in you can buy parts on line but I don't know about cars
