when i'm driving my 89 crx, i feel losses and surges in power. like it loses power then regains it. also the exhaust doesn't have a smooth sound. the best way i could describe it is like the air is coming out in pockets or puffs. any help is appreciated. thanks.

 

i had something like that on my 90 dx, it ended up being a loose ground on the main harness, the bolt for the thermostat house had come loose.

 

I'll be sure to check the ground wires. Hopefully thats it. seems like an easy fix.
