i had a question on a 4.7 final drive. what is a 4.7 final drive? can an ls 5th gear be run with a 4.7 fd on a b16 tranny. how does it change things? sorry about such a noob *** question but its just something i need to learn about before i buy. thanks for the help.

Im also going to be swpaping bits around in B series trannys, im pretty sure it works fine as i understand that pretty much every b series gear component is interchangable.

Running an LS 5th will just give you a longer 5th gear, everything else will stay the same.

Any idea where i can get an LS 5th?
