Downsides to spray paint job ?

Downsides to spray paint job ?
I am not ready to paint the weekend car just yet.... but it looks really horrible and I'm considering spray painting it for a year or so. Will it make it any harder to prep for a proper paint job in the future ?

^yes yes, read that. If you want a "temporary" paint job, you're going to have to sand it all off before you re-paint it.
do it right, do it once. That's what we should all be doing when it comes to stuff like that. I've made that mistake three times before, and it sucks each time. I finally learned my lesson though.
